Shai Davis was born in 1983 in New York City. The youngest of four children, he attended the Ramaz School from nursery through high school, before spending a year in a religious seminary in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, Israel. After completing a joint Bachelor's degree at Harvard college in the visual arts (with a focus on film and video) and the study of religion, Shai spent a year working at two New York production companies. In September, 2007, Shai moved to Israel, where he lives in Jerusalem's Germany Colony. As he searches for future opportunities, Shai hopes to continue to hone his skills and learn new ones.
